Folsom Street in the 1970s was an online research project published between 1996 and 1999, documenting locations and anecdotal information about LGBTQ+ establishments in San Francisco’s South of Market Area and elsewhere. I plan to relaunch this project in a more interactive fashion in 2019-2020.
Ghosts of High Point Road will document the history of retail and restaurants on High Point Road (now West Gate City Boulevard) in Greensboro, North Carolina. It will include location research and photography, and will document chain prototypes and other artifacts on what was originally U.S. Highway 29.
